Color: Unbleached white.

See Potholder 5 and knit as for the 1st joining stripe.

BEGINNING STITCH (BEG ST)

A beginning st is needed when you begin a knit cast-on. Place a slip knot onto the needle and begin K-CO from there.

When you want to join a square or a strip to another you can, for example, use the nearest CO st “around the corner” as the beg st.

In principle, you can insert the needle into a stitch loop where you wish in the work and use it as a beg st when you cast on.

ARE THE EDGE STITCHES TOO LOOSE?
